Used Shipping Containers
All of our used containers are sourced direct from shipping lines or major leasing companies.
All of our used containers are suitable for either storage or export use and whilst they may have dents and some surface rust consistent with their working life. All of our used containers are inspected and where necessary repaired to a shippable standard before they leave our depot. Meaning that you are guaranteed to get a unit that is structurally sound as well as being wind and watertight, with good doors, door seals and a solid floor whether being used as a site store or for export.
The lowest cost containers we offer are our second-hand shipping containers which, despite their appearance, will provide many years of service for storage use. However, if cosmetic appearance is a concern or you intend to have the container ‘blend’ with its surroundings please look at the options provided by our range of refurbished shipping containers or our new one trip shipping containers highlighted below.
Refurbished Shipping Containers
To produce our refurbished shipping containers, we take containers from our used stock and customise them to order, including an external re-paint using marine grade paint in the customer’s choice of colour. A refurbished container is ideal when cosmetic might be a concern or where a new container maybe just over your budget.
We supply an extensive range of refurbished shipping containers from most of our UK depots with our Birmingham, London and Manchester depots being the ones that have really specialised in supplying of a wide range of refurbished shipping container options.
Whilst we can offer a completely customised package to meet your requirements, our typical refurbishment options include re-painting the exterior of the container in your choice of basic RAL colour, fitting a set of flat panel doors in place of the cargo doors through to installing personnel doors and security windows. New One Trip Shipping Containers
Brand new shipping containers or one trip shipping containers have done just that, one trip from China to the UK full of goods and are the newest containers available on the UK market.
As they still have a valid CSC plate, they can be used for exporting goods, for self-storage depots who offer shipping container storage or we can convert them in to offices, bars, coffee shops and much more!
The new or one trip shipping containers also come in a range of designs that are rare on the used market. So, if you’re after tunnel containers (with double doors at each end), side opening containers (where the full long side opens up), chemical stores or smaller sized containers that shipping lines typically don’t handle like 10ft, 8ft and even 6ft containers, you’re in the right place!
New shipping containers, whilst more expensive than used, provide the best long-term value and should last some 2 – 3 times longer than a used container. They will hold a better re-sale value than a used container and will look a lot smarter making them ideal for areas where the containers can be seen by visitors etc. and for anyone looking to keep a container for 10+ years of storage use, new containers definitely provide the best long-term value.
