Quality Products
All our one trip (new) shipping containers are sourced directly from import use after their first trip to the UK. Any one trip containers we offer will not have been previously used for storage or shipping without us making this expressly clear.
All of our basic used shipping containers are sourced in directly from shipping lines and leasing companies. This ensures a good quality, structurally sound container that is ‘fresh’ into the used market and will consequently offer the best possible lifespan. Again, if we are ever offering an older shipping container purchased back from a customer we will always make this clear to you with your quotation.
We mostly store our containers in the same depots used by the major shipping lines and leasing companies. We work with professional container yards that work with shipping containers as their core business and we’ve been building and working on these relationships for over 10 years so we can be confident of the consistent quality of service we can offer.
Nationwide Delivery
Using a nationwide network of standard container hauliers as well as hiab crane equipped hauliers we can offer genuine nationwide delivery options from our network of 16 depots across the UK.
All our hauliers are insured and most are members of the RHA = even if they are not we will guarantee you that deliveries will be undertaken to RHA Terms & Conditions. Risk and method statements are available for all crane equipped deliveries if requested in advance.
Premium Support
Our customer service does not stop once your shipping container has been delivered. We’re always here to help!
All new customers receive our free information starter pack which includes a guide on accepting your container delivery, positioning it for best use and longevity, and basic advice on looking after your shipping container.
While all our containers used in the UK for storage come with our market leading 2 year wind & watertight guarantee (see below), we are always happy to help with any questions you may have over the entire lifetime of your container.
Product Guarantee
All our shipping containers sold for static storage use within the UK are covered by our 24 month / 2 year wind and watertight guarantee.
If your shipping container naturally springs a leak or has some other defect in the first 2 years, let us know and we will come out and fix it for you free of charge. If we’re unable to fix it we will replace it for you.
This guarantee will not apply if you damage the container yourselves. We will of course help you repair it but it would be chargeable if you choose to drive a fork lift through the side of your shipping container or similar!
Typically problems are very rare (less than 1% of sales have problems after delivery) but please do double check shipping containers once delivered. We are unable to compensate for any damaged goods within the shipping container in the event of a leak or defect.
Unfortunately if you ship your container abroad and it then springs a leak we can’t afford to send an engineer out to another country to patch a hole (this will cost more than the value of the container) hence we can only offer our wind & watertight guarantee within the UK.
All our shipping containers sold for export use will come with a CSC (Container Safe Convention) plate for export use. All used shipping containers will come with a minimum 6 month CSC plate for export use. All of our one trip (new) containers will come with a circa 5 year CSC plate. Please mark clearly on any written order to us that you require a CSC plated shipping container that is being used for export.
