Our 45ft shipping containers are extremely versatile and are great if you need a large amount of storage space. They are also great for converting in to bars, café’s, shops and offices. In fact, we’re aware of some other conversions that have include these 45ft units being converted in to washrooms, chemical stores and special custom conversions including biomass boiler housings.
Our used 45ft shipping containers are all provided as structurally sound units with goods doors, floors and door seals. We inspect and professionally repair all our containers in depot prior to delivery and we can provide these containers with a CSC plate making them suitable for export use. When sold for storage use only, they come with our 2-year wind & watertight guarantee. Built from COR-TEN A grade steel, means that any rust that does form on the surface is non-porous and the unit will take a long time to corrode away.
As well as these standard height units, we also have 45ft High Cube Containers which are a full 1-foot taller than the standard units making them 9ft 6 high externally giving you an additional 1-foot of headroom within the container. High cube variants are always a useful choice for storing taller items and the extra foot in height makes them a great choice for any conversion works, especially if adding insulation and lining to the container ceiling.
If you intend on using them for onsite storage use, we recommend you have a lock box or cowl fitted to the cargo doors to prevent someone using bolt cutters on your padlock and one of our shipping container padlocks
We only source our used 45ft shipping container direct from leasing companies and shipping lines so, we won’t be fobbing you off with a unit that’s been sat in a muddy field for years.
With extra storage/working space to play with, these containers can be modified and adapted for a range of uses. We can add a roller shutter door to the end of the container, fit personnel doors, windows, electrics etc.
